Enchanted April by Matthew Barber; Based on the novel by Elizabeth von Arnim; Directed by Bonnie J. Monte
"To those who appreciate wisteria and sunshine."
What better way to kick off our season than with this charming journey to a time and place that will make your June feel as enchanted as the April in the play. Travel with the characters in this bittersweet, funny, and transformative journey from the gloom of post-WWI London to the wisteria-laden, seaside cliffs of sunny Italy. The 1991 screen version of the novel was a huge hit with audiences around the globe, and this stage version is no less enchanting. The cast features Monette Magrath, who wowed audiences as Lizzie in The Rainmaker in 2019.
