North Star Theater Company presents "Deathtrap"

(SPARTA TOWNSHIP, NJ) -- The North Star Theater Company presents Deathtrap across two weekends (April 12-14 and April 19-21, 2024) in Schaffer Hall at St. Mary's Episocopal Church. The classic play by Ira Levin involves Sidney Bruhl, a playwright who is struggling to write his next big Broadway thriller. He invites one of his students to his home after reading his script. The twists and turns begin as Sidney sees an opportunity to turn his situation around.

Split Level Concerts To Present Shows At The Jersey Shore Arts Center Starting This Fall

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- The Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced an exciting new partnership that will bring nationally and internationally touring Americana and contemporary folk musicians to the stage of JSAC's Palaia Theater beginning this Fall. JSAC is teaming up with Split Level Concerts, a long running concert series that has relocated from Union County to the Jersey Shore. The inaugural season for Split Level Concerts at JSAC will begin this October 2024 and will run through April of 2025. The entire concert line-up will be announced in mid-April.



The Adelphi Orchestra Presents "Complexity & Simplicity" with SoHyun Ko

(RIVER EDGE, NJ) -- The Adelphi Orchestra will take audiences on a mesmerizing musical journey with "Complexity & Simplicity," conducted by Maestro Kyunghun Kim, as they celebrate their 70th season alongside the extraordinary talent of SoHyun Ko. Experience a captivating performance featuring Brahms' "Variations on a Theme by Haydn," Mozart's "Concerto for Violin No. 5 'Turkish,'" performed by the acclaimed SoHyun Ko, winner of the 2020 competition, and Schubert's "Symphony No. 5 in B-flat Major." NJPAC and Rutgers University–Newark Jointly Launch Teaching Artist Certificate Program

(NEWARK, NJ) -- On March 26, 2024, New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) and Rutgers University–Newark School of Arts and Sciences (SASN) announced a new Teaching Artist certificate program to provide practical skills and an understanding of sound business practices for teaching artists to apply in educational, community, healthcare and corporate settings.



The 24 Hour Plays Make NJ Debut at Mile Square Theatre

(HOBOKEN, NJ) -- On April 7, 2024, The 24 Hour Plays make their New Jersey debut at Hoboken's Mile Square Theatre. MPAC Announces Free Summer Concert Lineup for 2026

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center's Arts in the Community free summer concert schedule for 2026 has been announced. MPAC will present six free concerts between June and August. The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.

Classic American Tales' presents Tales at the Dormer House every Thursday

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.
