Rick Blaine, Ilsa Lund, police captain Louis Renault, Major Heinrich Strasser and all the badly dressed, ill-mannered, rude Nazis one could ship to North Africa will all be in New Jersey this coming weekend for special screenings of the beloved film Casablanca. This time, though, they’ll be trying to find freedom on that plane to Lisbon with the help of the New Jersey symphony in another of its movie concerts.

Craftnow And Nextfab Partner To Present Tools Of The Trades, An Inaugural Hybrid Conference For Creative Entrepreneurs

(PHILADELPHIA, PA) -- Craft organization CraftNOW and membership-based makerspace NextFab have partnered to present the inaugural Tools of the Trades, a three-day hybrid conference focused on connecting artisans to business resources in Philadelphia and beyond. From March 23 to 25, attendees will have access to experts, resources, and peers working in the craft community. Funded in part by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, Tools of the Trades is designed to provide creative entrepreneurs of all skill levels the tools they need to build their own unique roadmap to success. The conference will have programming and resources relevant to creative entrepreneurs working across the country. 








OCC's Center for Holocaust, Genocide, and Human Rights Education To Host Several Events

(TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- The Center for Holocaust, Genocide, and Human Rights Education at Ocean County College will host several events this spring, in keeping with the center’s mission to foster awareness of the Holocaust, genocides, and other crimes against humanity and to advance the ongoing dialogue about bigotry and intolerance. The Outwaters is a naturalistic, slow-burn feature film about a group of travelers who encounter menacing phenomena while camping in a remote stretch of the Mojave Desert. The Lumineers will Play Holmdel and Camden On 2022 North American Tour

The Lumineers BRIGHTSIDE World Tour 2022 has announced North American dates. The shows begin May 18 at Jacksonville, FL’s Daily’s Place and then continue through early September. Locally, the tour comes to PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel (May 28) and Waterfront Music Pavilion in Camden (June 4).  Caamp is the special guest for both Jersey shows.

MPAC Announces Free Summer Concert Lineup for 2026

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center's Arts in the Community free summer concert schedule for 2026 has been announced. MPAC will present six free concerts between June and August. The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.

Classic American Tales' presents Tales at the Dormer House every Thursday

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.
