New Jersey Stage published its 25,000th story in December 2021. As the site approached the milestone, we posed the question on social media as how we should celebrate. One response was to highlight our favorite stories from over the years. We liked this idea, but could not narrow things down to just 25 favorites so we will present a favorite each day from different genres. Every Monday we feature one of our favorite stories in music. The song was released by True Nature Records/DMM as a Valentine’s Day treat.
(MANASQUAN, NJ) -- Algonquin Arts Theatre presents Amadeus from Saturday, February 26 through Sunday, March 6. Peter Shaffer's Amadeus is a reimagining of the lives of Antonio Salieri and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The play, brought to life with the music of Mozart, is a tale of jealousy and betrayal... and perhaps even murder. The story opens in 1825 on the eve of the elderly Salieri's death. The show won the Tony award for Best Play and the Academy Award for Best Film. Algonquin's production will be directed by Gina Lupi.

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater.
