(NEWARK, NJ) -- May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and on May 10, WBGO Studios is proud to launch Conversations with Sydney, a podcast series exploring effective ways for parents, teens, schools, and communities to respond to the ongoing crises of teen mental health and suicide. Each episode is structured as a personal conversation between a father (Micah Fink) and his non-binary teenager (Sydney) as they search for real-world solutions by speaking with teens, parents, doctors, and national leaders in the field of teen suicide prevention. Some of the questions the series raises include: Should parents talk to their kids about suicide? How can teens and parents begin to talk about mental health and suicide with their kids?

The multiday kaleidoscope of singers performing decades of iconic standards kicks off June 14-18 with the Rhinestone Cowgirls and continues with Forever Motown (July 12-16) and The Caribbean Chillers (July 26-30). Local Bands Night presents three acts local to the Philadelphia area (August 5), Funkadrill's Mandrills Experience (August 18-19), and The Four C Notes (August 23-27) to close out the summer series on the mainstage. Roots and Boots, featuring Aaron Tippin, Collin Raye, and Sammy Kershaw, lights up the Bristol Township outdoor amphitheater (2501 Bath Road) on Thursday, July 20, followed by The Hitmen on Friday, August 11.

The first thing you'll see upon entering the gallery at Deep Space (77 Cornelison St.) is the shadow-outline of a woman's leg. There it is, on a chartreuse background, sticking straight up in the air with a curvaceous bare foot inches from the ceiling. That's all of the subject of "Lemon Lime Toe of God" that the oil painter Delilah Ray Miske is willing to show us. The rest of the body, she implies, is splayed out on a bed. We know it's summer because the window is closed and the air conditioner is plugged in. There's a pretty good chance that the possessor of the leg is undressed. In one hand, she holds a cellphone, and she might be broadcasting something. On the wall, a small whip-like broomstick hangs. It could be the ride of a tiny witch. It could be the professional tool of a dominatrix.
