Bristol Riverside Theatre 2023 William Penn Summer Music Fest Preview

(BRISTOL, PA) -- Bristol Riverside Theatre (BRT) (120 Radcliffe Street in Bristol, PA) presents a lineup of contemporary favorites and tribute artists taking the stage for the William Penn Bank Summer Music Fest 2023. The multiday kaleidoscope of singers performing decades of iconic standards kicks off June 14-18 with the Rhinestone Cowgirls and continues with Forever Motown (July 12-16) and The Caribbean Chillers (July 26-30). Local Bands Night presents three acts local to the Philadelphia area (August 5), Funkadrill’s Mandrills Experience (August 18-19), and The Four C Notes (August 23-27) to close out the summer series on the mainstage. Roots and Boots, featuring Aaron Tippin, Collin Raye, and Sammy Kershaw, lights up the Bristol Township outdoor amphitheater (2501 Bath Road) on Thursday, July 20, followed by The Hitmen on Friday, August 11. 

Centrally located within 30 miles of Philadelphia, Trenton, and Princeton, the Amphitheater in Bristol Township Municipal Park is a 4,000-seat venue, part of a $7 million development expansion, including a large spray park, an accessible playground, a synthetic turf field, and free public parking. The forum provides guests of every age with an optimum concert experience with beer, wine, and concessions available for purchase. Premium seating and natural green spaces accommodate concertgoers celebrating the joy of live music. 

“Summer is all about listening to great music while sipping a cool drink, whether that’s in the air conditioning in our intimate 300-seat theatre or on the lawn outside at the 4,000-seat Amphitheatre, and we’re thrilled to be presenting the third annual William Penn Bank Summer Music Fest in Bristol!” said BRT Co-Producing Director Amy Kaissar. “Whether you like Country, Motown, or pure Rock, we’ve got you covered all summer long.” 

With shows expected to sell quickly, patrons are encouraged to see showtimes and purchase advance tickets. Tickets are now on sale, starting at $50 general admission for indoor shows and $39 for outdoor shows. Premium tickets for outdoor shows include seating in front of the stage with chairs. Outdoor general admission attendees are invited to bring their own chairs and blankets. Bristol Riverside Theatre (BRT) has also released a limited number of $11 tickets for each outdoor show available at Bristol Township’s Municipal Building exclusively for residents of Bristol Township.

Rhinestone Cowgirls | Wednesday, June 14 to Sunday, June 18. Pay homage to the iconic female vocalists of yesterday and today with Rhinestone Cowgirls: Legendary Ladies of Country Music! Forever Motown | Wednesday, July 12 to Sunday, July 16. Imagine seeing the greatest Motown groups of all time all on one stage together again! That’s Forever Motown, and it’s so good for the soul. Hitsville churned out all the #1 hits in the 60s and 70s…and this show celebrates the best from Berry Gordy’s Detroit hit-making factory. Tickets $20 - $63 

Caribbean Chillers | Wednesday, July 26 to Sunday, July 30. This Jimmy Buffett tribute band from Florida has performed around the country, even Hawaii, and internationally from Cancun, Mexico, to Cuba. The Caribbean Chillers will perform the Buffett music of yesteryear to today, also performing other great Tropical Rock songs for your listening and dancing pleasures. Tickets $20 - $63

Local Bands Night | Saturday, August 5. St. James & the Apostles (voted best local band by Philadelphia Magazine), local troubadours Righteous Jolly & the M.E.N., and the Greg McGarvey Band, take to the BRT mainstage for a one-night-only mega event featuring Philadelphia-based musicians. Tickets $25

Funkadrill’s Mandrill Experience | Friday, August 18 to Saturday, August 19. Funkadrill’s Mandrill Experience are hand-picked musicians who recreate the Mandrill sound of the 70s, a special time for music when Mandrill was at the top of headline acts paving the way for many bands. Neftali, who joined Mandrill in 1972 and is featured on many Mandrill albums and hits, will take the stage for the very last time during this must-see two-night-only musical journey. Tickets $65 - $120

The Four C Notes | Wednesday, August 23 to Sunday, August 27. Created by John Michael Coppola (Jersey Boys), The Four C Notes are the Midwest’s ONLY tribute recreating the iconic sounds of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. Having appeared throughout the United States and internationally, The Four C Notes have established themselves as the premier Frankie Valli tribute. Tickets $20 - $63

Roots and Boots | Thursday, July 20. This powerhouse country concert is a one-night-only engagement you won’t want to miss! Aaron Tippin, Collin Raye, and Sammy Kershaw join forces to present an evening filled with stories and songs as they return to their musical roots. Aaron, Collin, and Sammy have amassed almost 70 combined Top 40 hit singles for this show, set to sell out fast. Tickets $40- $65

The Hit Men | Friday, August 11. Relive rock’s greatest hits with The Hit Men – five fantastic musicians who have shared the stage with legendary artists, including members of Foreigner, Cheap Trick, Wings, Alan Parsons, Billy Joel, Sting, Elton John, Journey, The Who, and Cream. With backstage stories, multi-media, and top-of-the-charts classic rock hits from so many different rock legends, a performance by The Hit Men is like seeing 10 rock legends for the price of one! Tickets $39 - $59



Since 1986, Bristol Riverside Theatre (BRT) has continued to bring acclaimed theatre to Bucks County. The theatre is the recipient of over 71 Barrymore Award nominations.
