(BEACH HAVEN, NJ) -- Surflight Theatre is presenting Ghost, The Musical from September 1-20, 2026. Based on the iconic 1990 film, Ghost, this romantic fantasy is brought to the stage, blending heartfelt emotion, gripping suspense, and supernatural wonder. Photographer John Posada was on hand to take photos.
The story follows Sam Wheat, a successful banker, and Molly Jensen, an artist, who are deeply in love. Their lives are shattered when Sam is killed during a mugging. However, Sam’s spirit remains on Earth, discovering that his death was not an accident but part of a larger conspiracy. Molly struggles to process her grief, while Sam realizes the power of love and his unfinished business on Earth.

The cast includes Riley Bannister (Louise/Officer Wallace), Noah Bloom (Sam Wheat), Mike Brennan (Hospital Ghost / Lionel Ferguson), Gia Mae Chessa (Molly Jensen), Dwan Hayes (Oda Mae Brown), Isaiah Hilliard (Subway Ghost / Orland Jones), Alison Nusbaum (Mrs. Santiago / Bank Officer / 2nd Nun), Jake Orlen (Willie Lopez), Savannah Wright (Clara / Ortisha Jones / 1st Nun), and Jonathan Van Dyke (Carl Brunner).
