Bordentown Regional High School Receives Twelve 2026 Greater Philadelphia Cappie Award Nominations

(BORDENTOWN, NJ) -- Bordentown Regional High School is proud to announce that their production of the musical Twelfth Night and the BRHS Cappies Critic Team have been nominated for an twelve 2026 Greater Philadelphia Cappie Awards.

The 2025-2026 BRHS Cappies Critic Team has been nominated for the Outstanding Critic Team Award. This year's team, under the guidance of Lead Critic Adam Pollard, included seniors Brynn Bowyer and Rylie Evans, juniors Leah Eisele and Alex Martucci, and sophomore Ansley Magby.. The BRHS team has spent the school year attending area productions and serving as representatives for the Cappies program.

Seniors Adam Pollard and Brynn Bowyer have each received a nomination for Outstanding 12th Grade Critic for their work with the Bordentown Cappies Critic Team.

For his performance as Sebastian, Atlas Planas-Borgstrom has been nominated in the category of Outstanding Featured Actor in a Male Role in a Musical.

Senior Gabriella Cuccia has been honored with a nomination for Outstanding Comic Actor in a Female Role in a Musical for her performance as Feste. Gabriella has also received a nomination in the category of Outstanding Hair and Makeup for her work with the cast of Twelfth Night.

Senior Wren Magby and sophomore Persephone Borsuk have been nominated for Outstanding Costumes for their work designing, choosing, and creating costumes for Twelfth Night.

The scenery of Twelfth Night has received a nomination for the BRHS Stage Crew in the category of Outstanding Sets.

The Twelfth Night Horn Trio has received a nomination in the category of Outstanding Creativity for the musicianship of seniors Wren Magby, Gabriella Cuccia, and freshman Nora Chestnut.

Brynn Bowyer has been nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Male Role in a Musical for her role as Sir Toby.

Junior Alex Martucci received a nomination for Outstanding Comic Actor in a Male Role in a Musical for his role as Sir Andrew.

Senior Sika Brenya, junior Kade Sutton, Brynn Bowyer and Alex Martucci have been nominated for Outstanding Ensemble in a Musical.

Bordentown Regional High School is proud to participate in the Greater Philadelphia Cappies. The Cappies is a national program that honors and celebrates the achievements of high school theatre, which culminates in an annual Gala. This year's Gala will be held at Upper Darby High School on May 31st to honor high school theatre productions from the 2025-2026 season.

Bordentown Regional High School is home to International Thespian Society Troupe 6803, which has won awards for both its productions and individual students at the New Jersey Theatre Night Awards, the Greater Philadelphia Cappies, the New Jersey State Thespian Festival, and the International Thespian Festival. Twelfth Night was presented on February 20th and 21st of this year, with choreography by Michelle Robb, vocal music direction by Kamala Cafaro, pit direction by Cheryl Stallworth-Glitz, and was directed by Stacie Morano.

Pioneer Productions presents "Merrily We Roll Along"

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Pioneer Productions presents Merrily We Roll Along, the groundbreaking musical by Stephen Sondheim with a book by George Furth. Based on the 1934 play by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart, the musical premiered in 1981 and has since become one of Sondheim's most daring and emotionally resonant works. The show will run weekends from June 19-June 28, 2026 at The Stage at Fellowship Hall, located inside the Morristown United Methodist Church.
