The Art House Gallery presents "Art Outside of Architecture" - a group exhibition featuring the Architects that designed The Hendrix

originally published: 06/28/2025

(JERSEY CITY, NJ) -- Art House Productions presents "Art Outside of Architecture," a group exhibition showcasing the work of the architects that designed The Hendrix building where Art House Productions resides. The exhibition will be on display at the Art House Gallery from July 5-27, 2025 and features twelve architects stepping out of the structural realm and into a world of personal expression in this dynamic group exhibition.

While known professionally for shaping physical spaces, these creative minds reveal a different side of their artistry—one that is unbound by blueprints and building codes. From bold abstractions to delicate renderings, surreal landscapes to photography, each artist brings a distinct visual language that contrasts not only with their architectural work, but also with one another. The result is a compelling exploration of how a disciplined design practice can give way to uninhibited creativity. This exhibit celebrates the unexpected—where form meets feeling, and structure yields to imagination.

Artists in this exhibition include Eldion Habazaj, Farah Jalil, Alexander Mailloux, Vincent Marchetto, Alexander Mayorga, Tyler McCleary, Robert Morgan, Chloe Morris, Federico Patino, Weston Ryder, Zeel Parekh Singh, and Emil Stojakovic.

“This exhibit is especially exciting because it showcases the creative talents of the very individuals who designed our building and gallery space. It’s a compelling example of how artistic vision extends beyond professional boundaries—how a career in one discipline can naturally evolve into another, bridging the worlds of design and fine art,” says Gallery Director, Andrea McKenna.

An opening reception will be held Thursday, July 17th form 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
