(RED BANK, NJ) -- The Indie Street Film Festival is hosting a fundraiser for the non-profit Indie Street Institute on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Triump Brewery (1 Bridge Avenue) in Red Bank. They will be raffling off a spot to a Costa Rica screenwriting retreat lead by Oscar winner (and NJ native) David Rabinowitz. The retreat is scheduled for March 20-25, 2024 at Toji Nature Retreat and is a $2,500 value. Filmmakers and aspiring writers are invited to attend. The event takes place at 7:00pm.

The 2023 Indie Street Film Festival takes place September 13-17. The festival was born from a cooperative distribution platform, so focuses on education and nurturing of our filmmakers through the ever-evolving world of technology, distribution, and audience engagement, regardless of budget size and in spite of restrictive funding. Throughout the 5 day interactive festival, both filmmakers and attendees enjoy panel discussions, live art, music, education and networking events sponsored by local breweries and restaurants that provide artisanal food and drink for festival goers.
