Mirrors on the Moon releases "Don't Panic" The New Jersey based band Mirrors On The Moon released a video for "Don't Panic" on July 18. This is the follow-up to their recently released single, "Get Lost". Both songs are from the band's upcoming debut album slated for release later this year.
The Bones of J.R. Jones releases "The Flood" (NEW YORK, NY) -- On July 18, 2023, the New York-based artist The Bones of J.R. Jones released "The Flood," the second song to be released from his forthcoming Slow Lightning that will be released on October 13 via Tone Tree Music. The Bones of J.R. Jones has also announced a US and European tour, with an album release show in his home state at Mercury Lounge on October 13, 2023.

New Jersey Hall of Fame announces Class of 2023 (NEWARK, NJ) -- /PRNewswire/ -- The New Jersey Hall of Fame (NJHOF) is thrilled to announce its 15th class of inductees, representing the accomplishments of some of the Garden State's best and brightest. Carteret Shia Muslim Community to host Peace Walk in honor of martyr Imam Hussain (CARTERET, NJ – The local Shia Muslim community will host a peace walk on Saturday, July 22, 2023 in honor of Imam Hussain, a martyr who defended Islam with a small group of supporters against an Iraqi army nearly 1,400 years ago. The event will run from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.

Count Basie Center Taps Longtime Arts Educator, Samantha Giustiniani, to Head its Education and Outreach Efforts (RED BANK, NJ) -- The nonprofit Count Basie Center for the Arts has announced the appointment of Samantha Giustiniani to Vice President, Education and Outreach. Giustiniani replaces longtime Count Basie Center education leader Yvonne Lamb Scudiery, who founded the organization's education department in 1999 before her 2020 retirement.
