
(EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- The East Brunswick Public Library has announced a collaborative venture with NextGen Acting and Playhouse 22 for the production of the upcoming podcast series, Vocal Canvas. This is an intriguing five-part podcast series that delves into the Five Aspects of Voice: Volume, Pitch, Pace, Diction, and Resonance. Each episode will shine the spotlight on a different aspect of voice, featuring pieces penned by community members.
The series is orchestrated by local Dennis Connors, a professional actor with over two decades of experience and the founder of NextGen Acting, an acting school focused on modern performing skills like voice over and on camera acting in East Brunswick, New Jersey. It is celebrated for nurturing talent and fostering creativity, offering a range of acting classes and programs for individuals of all ages and skill levels.
Joining Connors in the production team are community writers Jon Heron, Fred Dennehy, and Emily Conklin. Melissa Hozik, Adult Programming Librarian at The East Brunswick Public Library, and Adam Neary, Executive Producer at Playhouse 22, are also integral to the production of this series in their roles as producers.
The cast of Vocal Canvas is as diverse as it is talented, featuring local talents including Tara Frye, Lindsay Minuski, Joanna de la Cruz, Dorothy Gallop, Jania Bibighaus, Mike Bode, Trenice Brockington, Serena Marie Smith, Sydney McGahee, Alex Luckenbaugh, Ashley Teel, Michael Costa, Hugo Zazzarini, Brandon Allentoff, Esperanza Pacheco, Meghan Stefek, Joe Wissner, Sally O'Sullivan, Thomas Rooney, Kristen Port, JD Dominique, Monica Shah, Marisa Knipfer, Emily Rosetti, Jaclyn Angstreich, Aaron Ratzan, Laura Dalston, Asia Johnson, and Chris Guell.

Vocal Canvas is scheduled for production and public release towards the end of the summer.
