Vivid Stage presents Final Episode of Gemstones June 21-22

(SUMMIT, NJ) -- Vivid Stage, in residence at Oakes Center at 120 Morris Avenue in Summit, is celebrating its 30th Anniversary season, marking decades of bringing contemporary theatre to audiences in the state of New Jersey. Coming up is the final episode of the original series, Gemstones, by Phoebe Farber. This episode, which will recap the entire season and wrap up the family's story, runs Saturday, June 21 at 8:00pm and Sunday, June 22, 2025 at 2:00pm.

Vivid Stage presents Summer Solos 2025

(SUMMIT, NJ) -- Vivid Stage presents Summer Solos - their annual weekly reading series - Wednesdays throughout July on the lawn of the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey. The series will include works by Kevin Daly, Elizabeth Strout, Megan Gogerty, and Eric Coble.



Count: Stories from America’s Death Row

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- During a single day on death row, six men unpack their personal inheritances of violence, racism, mental illness, poverty, and surprising love. Count: Stories from America's Death Row is a production brought to you through a partnership between the Center for Barth Studies at Princeton Theological Seminary and Chesney Snow of Princeton University. Performances are scheduled for Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 3:00pm & 7:00pm in McCarter Theatre's Berlind Rehearsal Room.

This uplifting and entertaining romantic comedy, featuring 14 glorious songs by Irving Berlin, celebrates 1930s music and romance with elegance and panache.
