Vivid Summer Solos is a weekly reading series in July presented by Vivid Stage that takes place on the lawn of the Visual Arts Center of NJ in Summit.  Bring a comfy lawn chair and your favorite snack to enjoy a summer eve with us. (In case of rain or extreme heat we will move inside at the Visual Arts Center!)

Lucy Barton wakes after an operation to discover – much to her surprise – her mother at the foot of her bed. They haven’t seen each other in years. During their visit, Lucy begins to understand her past, come to terms with her family, and find herself as a writer.
