OCC Repertory Theater presents "All Shook Up"

(TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- It's 1955, and into a square little town in a square little state rides a guitar-playing young man who changes everything and everyone he meets. Loosely based on Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, this hip-swiveling, lip-curling musical fantasy known as All Shook Up will be presented by OCC Repertory Theater Company across two weekends (July 12-14 and July 19-21, 2024) at the Grunin Center for the Arts.

Musical theater fans gather together this Friday, May 17, 2024 evening at Morristown, NJ's MPAC for a live concert by one of Broadway's brightest stars, Bernadette Peters. Peters is a Tony, Drama Desk, Golden Globe, and Grammy-award winning Broadway, television, film, and recording star.

(RED BANK, NJ) -- The 19th annual BASIE AWARDS, honoring excellence and achievement in Monmouth County high school theatre, took place on May 22, 2024. This year's ceremony took place live at the historic Count Basie Center for the Arts, attracting a capacity crowd for what has become the biggest night of the year for area high school thespians. "A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder" Tickles a Dark Funny Bone

​​​​​​​The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey (STNJ) opened their 62nd season last weekend with the show A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder. New Artistic Director Bruce B. Crowe welcomed the audience and explained that this is the first time in a dozen years since a musical was being presented at STNJ. After seeing it performed, I would encourage them not let so many years pass again. In fact, can I put in my order for another one next season?
