2022 Lighthouse International Film Festival's Dramatic Features Competition

(LONG BEACH ISLAND, NJ) -- The Lighthouse International Film Festival (LIFF) has announced its 2022 dramatic features competition program, which includes inspiring, creative, and shocking films from the USA and around the world. The festival will take place for the 14th time on Long Beach Island, between June 2-5, a long weekend that offers a host of exciting in-person events: new film screenings, panels, networking events, and parties. In addition to its dramatic features competition, LIFF will hold a documentary features competition, a shorts competition, an episodic competition, a high school film competition, surf film screenings, and headliner programs.

(LONG BEACH ISLAND, NJ) -- The Lighthouse International Film Festival has announced its 2022 documentary competition program which includes inspiring, creative, and cutting-edge films from the USA and around the world. The Festival will take place on Long Beach Island, New Jersey (LBI) between June 2-5, a long weekend that offers exciting in-person events, film screenings, panel discussions, networking events, and parties. The Festival’s line-up will include dramatic features competition, shorts competition, episodics competition, high-school students' films competition, surf films screening, and spotlight and headliner features. 



Lighthouse International Film Society to Screen "Olga" for the Benefit of World Central Kitchen's Efforts in Ukraine

(LOVELADIES, NJ) -- Looking for a way to show its support for the people of Ukraine? The Lighthouse International Film Society is hosting a benefit for World Central Kitchen and their life-giving work feeding the citizens of that war-torn country.  They will be screening Olga, which tells the 2014 story of a teenage Ukrainian gymnast exiled in Switzerland while training for the Olympics, on Wednesday, May 11th at 7:30pm. The screening takes place at Long Beach Island Foundation of the Arts & Sciences, 120 Long Beach Blvd, Loveladies, NJ.



2022 New Jersey International Film Festival Preview

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- Over 20 films will have their New Jersey or Area Premiere (Middlesex County) screenings as part of the 2022 New Jersey International Film Festival, which takes place on select Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays between June 3-12. The 27th annual festival will be a hybrid - presented online as well as with select in person screenings at Rutgers University. All the films will be available virtually via Video on Demand for 24 hours on their show date. Each ticket or Festival Pass purchased is good for both the virtual and the in person screenings.
