On Sept. 26, the second annual Middlesex County Jazz Festival expanded into Carteret for the first time with a rousing headlining performance by Nat Adderley Jr. Quartet, the beloved West Orange-based outfit led by the longtime Luther Vandross pianist-arranger-composer-producer.




 

Omnium Circus brings "I'm Possible," celebrating accessibility and inclusion, to Shea Performing Arts Center on October 20th

(WAYNE, NJ) -- Omnium Circus will bring its jaw-droppingly, awe-inspiringly uplifting show, "I'm Possible," to the Shea Performing Arts Center in Wayne on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at 3:00pm as part of their 2024 Fall Tour. "I'm Possible" tells the story of Johnny, a young boy who dreams of joining the circus.

"We are in Skokie, Illinois, just finished up in Canada and we're playing Chicago tomorrow," said Billy Bob Thornton, a.k.a "Bud" of The Boxmasters as he and guitarist/producer J.D. Andrew discussed the band's formation, recording equipment, sound and a rainy day in West Long Branch as they prepare to return once again to the intimate confines of Monmouth University's Pollak Theatre for a 7 p.m. show on October 11.
