Flood, Fire & Honey the second album from New York rock band Clare Maloney & the Great Adventure, is an odyssey - the story of a warrior facing the isolation of islands while searching for home. The first single, “The Flood” sets the stage with an epic storm. The band surges and thunders as Maloney’s gale force vocals make evident her opera training and soar above the torrent, unleashing rage and wonder. It sets the stage for the album’s tale of survival and renewal while capturing the raw electricity the band has become known for.
The group - Clare Maloney and Nate De Brine on vocals and guitar, Caleb Estey on drums and vocals, and Russell Gottlieb on bass and banjos - released its first album Daybreaker in 2022. The NY/NJ based foursome developed their spellbinding live sound over the last few years by becoming a force on the touring circuit, playing 250+ shows and opening for legends like Pat Benatar, Los Lobos, The Wailers, and Kevin Bacon’s Bacon Brothers, among others.
