“Hotel Transylvania” is a 2012 animated comedy that takes place in a lavish, monster-only resort hidden from the human world. Owned and operated by Count Dracula (voiced by Adam Sandler), the hotel is a safe haven where Frankenstein’s Monster, aka Frank, (voiced by Kevin James), Murry the Mummy (voiced by CeeLo Green), Griffin the Invisible Man (voiced by David Spade), and Wayne the Werewolf (voiced by Steve Buscemi) can relax without fear of humans. Dracula’s main concern, however, is protecting his daughter Mavis (voiced by Selena Gomez), who longs to explore the world beyond the hotel walls. Chaos ensues when an unsuspecting human backpacker named Jonathan (voiced by Andy Samberg) stumbles upon the resort and falls for Mavis, forcing Dracula to confront his fears about letting go.
