La Grande is an intimate film that celebrates the life and legacy of Dominican music legend Fefita La Grande - the first woman to break into the male-dominated world of merengue típico. Known for her bold style, fierce independence, and unmatched accordion talent, Fefita redefined what it means to be a woman in music. Through rare archival footage and powerful interviews, this film captures the rhythm, resilience, and revolutionary spirit of a cultural icon.
