The GRAMMY Award-winning Silkroad Ensemble and Artistic Director Rhiannon Giddens return to McCarter with Sanctuary: The Power of Resonance and Ritual—a bold new program exploring how we can all experience music to help understand our world, comfort people, help people to process loss and a changing environment, and rebuild community based on our own humanity. They invite audiences to experience music not just as listeners, but as participants in a shared journey toward connection and community.  Silkroad Ensemble was founded by Yo-Yo Ma in 2000.
