Once again Glen Burtnik continues his 30+ year Christmas tradition, this time with The Weeklings and some very special friends at Red Bank’s The Vogel at the Count Basie Center for the Arts on Sunday, Dec 22nd at 3pm! Featuring a collection of some of his most talented musical “Friends”, they come together to perform their and your holiday favorites while “Celebrating 6 Decades of The Beatles”. And you never know which musical “Friends” Glen and Weeklings will bring to the party!

THE WEEKLINGS are America’s most unique celebration of the timeless music and the undeniable influence of The Beatles. They’re four amazing musicians, Glen Burtnik, Bob Burger, John Merjave and Joe Bellia who have collectively written, recorded and toured with artists ranging from Dave Mason to Celine Dion, Beth Hart to David Bowie, Springsteen to Paul McCartney! In January of this year they released their 4th album on JEM Records, the brilliant Raspberry Park and they are currently in the process of releasing their first holiday record, The Weeklings Christmas!

GLEN BURTNIK (LEFTY WEEKLING) – singer, songwriter, bassist and multi-instrumentalist, best known for his work with Styx, Electric Light Orchestra, the Broadway production of Beatlemania as Paul McCartney, The Summer of Love Concert and “The Fest for Beatles Fans house-band Liverpool. He’s composed songs for the likes of Don Henley and Patty Smyth, the Hot 100 #2 mega-hit “Sometimes Love Just Ain’t Good Enough”, John Waite, Randy Travis, Celine Dion the #2 Hot Country hit, “Spirit of a Boy, Wisdom of a Man”, Styx, including the bands last Top 40 hit, “Love at First Sight” and their last Gold album, Edge of The Century, and many others.

BOB BURGER (ZEEK WEEKLING) – singer, guitarist and gold record songwriter whose credits include Styx, Donnie Iris, HBO pictures, Kasim Sulton and others. He’s long performed Beatle and other tribute shows with Glen Burtnik and Bobby Bandiera of Bon Jovi and Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes. Burger has also appeared with the likes of Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi, and Billy Joel.

JOHN MERJAVE (ROCKY WEEKLING) – lead guitarist and long standing member of “The Fest for Beatles Fans” house band Liverpool, and other national shows, having performed with Billy Preston, Donovan, and Denny Laine, among others.

JOE BELLIA (SMOKESTACK WEEKLING) – drums…Master of the “Ringo” drumming style and is a highly sought studio/live drummer having performed, recorded and toured with such greats as Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes, Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi and Dave Mason.

EVENT PREVIEWS

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center's Arts in the Community free summer concert schedule for 2026 has been announced. MPAC will present six free concerts between June and August. The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.

Classic American Tales' presents Tales at the Dormer House every Thursday

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.
