Lizzie Rose Music Room 217 E. Main Street, Tuckerton, NJ 08087
GRAYSON, two-time Grammy nominated artists, is a four-piece band from South Jersey that pulls from their influences of jazz, blues, and soul to get their extremely unique and modern sound. The band formed from a collection of lifelong friends and music nerds who met in middle school and just couldn't get enough of Stevie Ray Vaughan, The Beatles, and Joe Pass. Their brand of entertainment fuses face-melting breakdowns and feel good melodies with passionate lyricism about love, heartache, and growing up as a young man in today's world.
The unpredictable chord progressions and lyrics stem from guitar player and lead singer Matt Grayson.Charlie Peters (drums) keeps time locked in with his younger brother, David (Bass), who sings backup vocals as well. Al Grayson (keyboard) adds the "magic" to Graysons sound by complimenting vocal melodies with his own new sound. And now, they have been considered for a Grammy nomination twice for Just Like Dreams and now, Daily Drinking!
