An Evening With Cindy Cashdollar, Carolyn Wonderland, and Shelley King

Sunday, October 06, 2024 @ 7:30pm

Lizzie Rose Music Room
217 E. Main Street, Tuckerton, NJ 08087

The Lizzie Rose Music Room is proud to announce that we will be one of only three venues for this extremely limited performance tour presented up close and personal by three renowned female singer/songwriters. Each one of them is highly regarded for their own careers so, to have all three of them here at the same time will be memorable and this will be an extraordinary evening of music. If you miss this show, you will regret it because your friends will be talking about it for years,

For those out there who are not familiar with one or any of these ladies here are short introductions to all three of them.

CINDY CASHDOLLAR  Cindy is a wizard on steel guitar, pedal steel guitar and dobro. She grew up in Woodstock NY and made her bones early on playing with Levon Helm, Rick Danko, Paul Butterfield and John Herald. After moving to Austin Texas she immersed herself in the western swing and country music scene that was breaking out there. Cindy played with the Texas Swing band Asleep At The Wheel for eight years and has toured and played with Leon Redbone, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Marcia Ball and Carla Olsen. Her latest album "Waltz For Adaline" features Albert Lee, Sonny Landreth, Amy Helm and Marcia Ball.

CAROLYN WONDERLAND  Carolyn is another Austin Texas based musician. She is a multi-instrumentalist and plays guitar, dobro, mandolin and piano and is mainly thought of as a blues guitarist but her music also incorporates hints of country, Texas Swing zydeco, gospel and soul.  She is a founding member of the Austin Volunteer Orchestra. Cindy joined John Mayall's Blues Band in 2018 and has continually toured with him since then as his lead guitarist. Prior to joining John Mayall's band, she was the lead guitarist for the all-female southern rock band Sis DeVille along with Shelley King.

SHELLEY KING  Shelley is also from Austin Texas and is the only woman to ever be appointed the Official State Musician of Texas. As noted above she is a member is a member of Carolyn Wonderland's band "Sis DeVille. Throughout her career she has been a song writer, guitarist, band leader, studio producer and owner of her own record label and publishing company. Musically she is well known for her dynamic performances and her excellent songwriting skills. Her latest album "Madam Mystic" enlisted the talents of Cindy Cashdollar, Carolyn Wonderland, Will McFarlane and Shawn Camp.
