Which musical decade is your favorite, the 70’s or the 80’s? Enjoy a fun filled evening of music in which, you the audience get to choose which decade wins! Your applause along with an applause meter will determine the “winner,” but the real winner is you, enjoying two amazing tribute bands The Discoteks and 80s Revoultion!

80’s fans- grab your leg warmers and leather jackets, tease your hair and spray your Aqua Net...and get ready for a revolution…80's Revolution! Turn Back Time to an era filled with bright neon colors, innovative and memorable fashion, and iconic movie classics. But most of all - the best music in history. This decade is known for mastering all genres. From Pop to Rock, Dance to New Wave, 80's Revolution covers all of your favorites: Madonna, Journey, Michael Jackson, Pat Benatar, Def Leppard, The Go-Go's, Whitney Houston, Bon Jovi, Cher - and so many more!

Prefer the disco of the 70’s? The Discoteks are a crowd favorite power tibute performing all the hits of the 70's disco and Motown. The band members have over 35 year’s experience in performing with various groups. The Discoteks have traveled the East coast but also perform all over the country. This heart pounding, high energy performance will get you on your feet and dancing in your seat!

EVENT PREVIEWS

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.

Light Opera of New Jersey to Hold Auditions for "Amahl and The Night Visitors"

(BASKING RIDGE, NJ) -- Light Opera of New Jersey will hold auditions for Amahl and the Night Visitors, a heartwarming holiday opera, on August 27th and September 3rd from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. Callbacks will be on September 5th from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. Auditions will be in Basking Ridge. Registrants will be advised of exact location after registering. All roles are opened and paid.

East Lynne Theater Company presents the New Jersey Premiere of "Lunar Eclipse" by Donald Margulies

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- East Lynne Theater Company presents the New Jersey Premiere of Lunar Eclipse by Donald Margulies from August 27 through September 20, 2026. In the play, George has been waiting for this night – the seven stages of a lunar eclipse are viewable from the farm that he shares with his wife Em – and she decides to join him in taking in the view.
