(MIDDLETOWN, NJ) -- The Middletown Arts Center presents the monthly MAC Music Café, an afternoon of live music performed by top-notch musicians, on Sunday, September 24 from 4:00pm-6:00pm. This month's singer-songwriter showcase features local talent Patrick Bamburak, Rick Dill, Gwynne Alden and Frank Patrouch. The concert will take place in the MAC theater. The event is free with a suggested donation of $5.
(RED BANK, NJ) -- The Count Basie Center for the Arts and New Jersey Hall Of Fame band The Smithereens have announced details on the 2024 Pat DiNizio Musical Performance Scholarship, named in honor of the New Jersey band's legendary frontman, who passed away in December 2017. Interested students aged 18 and under may apply by completing the online form and submitting an audition video at thebasie.org/dinizio. Deadline for submissions is November 15 and finalists will be announced December 1.
