Second Sunday Poetry Reading to feature Faleeha Hassan and Keith O'Shaughnessy

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- Princeton Makes, a Princeton-based artist cooperative, and Ragged Sky Press, a local publisher focused on poetry, will host a Second Sunday Poetry Reading on Sunday, January 14 at 4:00pm. The readings will take place at the Princeton Makes store in the Princeton Shopping Center. The January reading will feature Faleeha Hassan and Keith O'Shaughnessy. Their readings will be followed by an open mic available to up to 10 audience members who would like to read their original poetry.



Monmouth County Park System Is Accepting Entries for Creative Arts Festival

(LINCROFT, NJ) -- Calling all artists and fine crafters! The Monmouth County Park System is seeking entries into its Creative Arts Festival. This juried art show and sale is open to artists and fine crafters of every medium. Those interested in entering are invited to submit images for consideration. The entry deadline is Friday, March 8.



Music Mountain Theatre presents "Lend Me a Tenor"

(LAMBERTVILLE, NJ) -- Music Mountain Theatre opens their 2024 season with the Tony award winning comedy, Lend Me a Tenor, weekends from January 12-28, 2024. The play is set in September of 1934 and we see the Cleveland Grand Opera Company's gala season opener, centered on world-famous tenor Tito Morelli, performing as Canio in "Pagliacci," his greatest role. But the opera is jeopardized when Morelli falls into a drunken stupor.








Ocean County College Repertory Theatre Company presents "Rabbit Hole"

(TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- The Ocean County College Repertory Theatre Company presents Rabbit Hole across two weekends (February 16-18, February 23-25). The play by David Lindsay-Abaire was the recipient of the 2007 Pulitzer Prize. Performances take place in the Grunin Center for the Arts' Black Box Theater.



Centenary Stage Company presents Jumaane Smith

(HACKETTSTOWN, NJ) -- Centenary Stage Company's Winter Thaw Festival of concerts kicks off 2024 with a performance by Jumaane Smith in his show titled: "Louis! Louis! Louis!" on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 8:00pm. The concert will take place at CSC's Sitnik Theatre of the Lackland Performing Arts Center (715 Grand Avenue) in Hackettstown, NJ.

Stockton Receives $1 Million State Grant to Promote Arts and Culture in Atlantic City

(ATLANTIC CITY, NJ) -- Did you know that Atlantic City features about 100 outdoor murals? Bringing attention to these unique art pieces, as well as other cultural aspects in the city, will become a lot easier thanks to a recent $1 million state grant received by Stockton University.

MPAC Announces Free Summer Concert Lineup for 2026

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center's Arts in the Community free summer concert schedule for 2026 has been announced. MPAC will present six free concerts between June and August. The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.

Classic American Tales' presents Tales at the Dormer House every Thursday

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.
