State Theatre New Jersey presents Sofia Phiharmonic Orchestra

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- State Theatre New Jersey presents the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra led by Principal Conductor Derek Gleeson on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 7:00pm. The all-Beethoven program includes Coriolanus Overture, Piano Concerto No. 5, and Beethoven Symphony No. 7. Joining the orchestra for part of the program is pianist Ivaylo Vassilev. Tickets range from $25-$55.



NJPAC presents Comedian John Crist

(NEWARK, NJ) -- Comedian John Crist wrapped 2023 as a Top 10 Worldwide Comedian (Pollstar). He spent the last year on his Emotional Support Tour, which he extended into 2024, and has just added 10 more dates to the tour including a performance at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) on Saturday, June 8 at 7:00pm.

Melanie, the acclaimed folk pop icon whose performance at the historic Woodstock Festival in 1969 launched her career, continued to captivate audiences long after the counterculture revolution came and went. She's released over 25 studio albums over the course of her multi-decade career alongside multiple compilations. But it's always been her live performances that resonated the most with her audience. Now those fans have cause to celebrate as one of her best live recordings is set for release on both CD and, for the first time ever, vinyl!








Symphony in C Presents Brilliant!

(NEW YORK, NY) -- Hi-ARTS is excited to introduce their 2024 Spring Artist Residency Cohort. Providing artists with time and space, CRITICAL BREAKS supports works at a pivotal point in the development of their work. Joining Hi-ARTS as CRITICAL BREAKS residents are Curtis “Tony” Turney and Cheri L. Stokes. SKY LAB supports artists who center community at the root of their creative development. This spring, Hi-ARTS welcomes SKY LAB Artists Jourdan Ash and Najee Omar.



McCarter presents the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine with support from local community

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- McCarter Theatre is proud to present the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at 1:00pm. Last month, the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine's visit was nearly cancelled due to the ongoing war in Ukraine and consequent shrinking resources. However, thanks to a community-wide effort to raise critical funds, this challenge was overcome. Now, the venerated orchestra will take the stage at McCarter's Matthews Theatre, presenting a rich program that showcases some of Ukraine’s most renowned musicians.

MPAC Announces Free Summer Concert Lineup for 2026

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center's Arts in the Community free summer concert schedule for 2026 has been announced. MPAC will present six free concerts between June and August. The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.

Classic American Tales' presents Tales at the Dormer House every Thursday

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.
