(PRINCETON, NJ) -- Princeton Makes, a Princeton-based artist cooperative, will host two music events – The Einstein Alley Coffee House on Friday, October 13 from 7:30pm to 9:00pm and the Java Jam on Sunday, October 15 at 4:00pm. Both events will be held at the Princeton Makes artist studios and art market in the Princeton Shopping Center.
(MANASQUAN, NJ) -- Algonquin Arts Theatre is currently presenting the musical, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, from October 7-22, 2023. Based on the Victor Hugo novel and songs from the Disney animated feature, The Hunchback of Notre Dame showcases the film's Academy Award-nominated score, plus new songs written for the stage. Fall 2023 New Jersey Film Festival Winners All the works that were part of the Fall 2023 New Jersey Film Festival Competition were selected by a panel of judges including media professionals, journalists, students, and academics. These judges selected the 19 finalists which were publicly screened at our Festival. The finalists were selected from 403 works submitted by filmmakers from around the world. In addition, the judges chose the Prize Winners in conjunction with the Festival Director.
(TEANECK, NJ) -- On Friday, November 10, 2023, the Teaneck International Film Festival will screen The Rebellious Life of Mrs. Rosa Parks at Teaneck Cinemas (503 Cedar Lane). Rosa Parks was so much more than the woman who refused to move to the back of the bus. This 96-minute film, directed by Johanna Hamilton and Yoruba Richen, delves deep into Ms. Parks' historic role in the Montgomery bus boycott and the Civil Rights Movement. The screening takes place at 7:30pm.

(BOONTON, NJ) -- LoMotion Live presents a reading of Black Friday on Sunday November 12 at The Parsippany Arts Center in Boonton. Proceeds from this performance donated to Elks Army of Hope. Black Friday is a dark and gripping play by Michael O'Hagan that explores stereotypes, military experiences and an emotionally fraught relationships between a young, impulsive wiseass Airman Brendan Donohue, and his senior ranking female teammate, Staff Sgt. Shannon Hoffman, at a remote military checkpoint in Iraq. The reading begins at 3:00pm.
