Count Basie Center for the Arts presents Andrew Dice Clay

(RED BANK, NJ) -- Count Basie Center for the Arts presents comedian Andrew Dice Clay on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 8:00pm. Dice is proud to be one of America's most controversial and outrageous comics. Quite simply, Dice is a Rock and Roll comedy legend. When he released his debut album, Dice, the parental advisory label simply read "Warning: This album is offensive."








Woodbridge Township presents Screaming Orphans at The Avenel Performing Arts Center

Danú Takes Audience to Ireland on March 10th

(GALLOWAY, NJ) -- Danú, one of the leading traditional Irish ensembles from historic County Waterford, will be on Stockton University's Performing Arts Center main stage performing their biggest hits on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at 2:00pm. The group's standing-room-only concerts throughout Ireland are true events featuring high-energy performances and a glorious mix of ancient Irish music and new repertoire.

If you remember songs like "California Dreamin'," "My Girl," "Groovin'" and "Wouldn’t it Be Nice," you'll be in the right place at the right time when Chris brings his "Summer Serenade" to the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center (NBPAC) on Friday, June 21st at 7:30pm.



Shaping Black Identity, New Exhibit at Fortune Cultural Center, Celebrates Black Women Disrupters and Influencers

(RED BANK, NJ) -- The expanding Black Press exhibit "Shaping Black Identity and Black Influence on Mass Media," moves into the Ida B. Wells Gallery at the historic T. Thomas Fortune Cultural Center, and opens on Saturday, March 23 at 1:00pm, in celebration of Women’s History Month, where Wells’ crusading story, as the first Black investigative reporter is featured. Commissioned artist, Kimberly Moore, formerly of the Jersey Shore, through colorful renderings of Wells, brings a fitting aesthetic to the gallery space.



Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation President and CEO, Tanuja Dehne, Stepping Down After Transformational Leadership to Center the Foundation's Work on Racial Justice

(NEWARK, NJ) -- On February 20, 2024, the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation announced that Tanuja M. Dehne will step down as President and CEO on April 1 after a tenure that is recognized for firmly solidifying the Foundation's vision for a just and equitable New Jersey.

MPAC Announces Free Summer Concert Lineup for 2026

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center's Arts in the Community free summer concert schedule for 2026 has been announced. MPAC will present six free concerts between June and August. The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.

Classic American Tales' presents Tales at the Dormer House every Thursday

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.

(BRADLEY BEACH, NJ) -- The Borough of Bradley Beach presents its Summer Jazz and Blues Series for 2026 throughout July and August. Residents and visitors are invited to enjoy a diverse lineup of world-class musical performances every Wednesday evening from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at beautiful Riley Park.
