For the third installment of his hit sci-fi franchise, A Quiet Place: Day One, John Krasinski hands the reins to fellow Polish-American filmmaker Michael Sarnoski. If you've seen Sarnoski's impressive debut, the Nicolas Cage vehicle Pig, you'll note similar elements here. As with Pig, Day One features a protagonist who has retreated into their shell, whose one friend is an animal, and who embarks on a quest in a major American city. Both movies trumpet the pleasure of simple food in key scenes. Sarnoski manages to weave his own interests into Krasinski's series in surprisingly smooth fashion, suggesting that the world of A Quiet Place can accommodate a variety of stories and perspectives.
"We have John Anthony on lead guitar, Rick Deak on guitar as well, Brendan Burke on bass, Owen Davis on drums and Nathan Anthony on keys and we love to usually have our horn section with us but we're not able to take them on this tour this time around but we do have trumpet, trombone and saxophone as well; we call that the family size band and that's always fun to take them on the road as well," laughed Jackie Popovec, lead vocalist of Ohio based band The Vindys as they prepped for the first of 20 shows opening for Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo with the first two occurring July 6 at Atlantic City's Ovation Hall located at Oceans Casino Resort and July 7 at The Hackensack Meridian Theatre in Red Bank, NJ.

"Yeah, the idea started early last year," enthusiastically stated guitarist Adrian Vandenberg as he discussed his upcoming "My Whitesnake Years" tour, a conglomeration of hits from some of the most revered classic rock acts of all time. "Last year it was 35 years ago when Whitesnake headlined the legendary Donington Festival in England. So, we thought it would be a good thing to celebrate that anniversary and do a "My Whitesnake Years" tour and when we were done, people from all over the world began asking if we'd be willing to do a run here or there and we went to Scandinavia, Spain and there is actually more stuff in the pipeline for next year also and of course now to the United States and it has been a lot of fun so far."
