Madison Square Garden to Celebrate the Final Show of Billy Joel's Historic Franchise Run

(NEW YORK, NY) -- Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. (MSG Entertainment) announced that The Garden will celebrate Billy Joel's final show of his record-breaking franchise run at The World's Most Famous Arena with custom fan experiences. Joel's 150th lifetime show, which marks the conclusion of his residency at The Garden, will take place on Thursday, July 25, 2024, more than ten years after the residency began and nearly 50 years after his first show at MSG.



Paper Mill Playhouse's Summer Musical Theater Conservatory presents "Endless Ovations"

(MILLBURN, NJ) -- Paper Mill Playhouse has selected students to be a part of its prestigious Summer Musical Theater Conservatory for 2024. Members of the competitive Conservatory who earned coveted spots in the Senior (ages 15-18), Junior Plus (ages 13-14), and Junior (ages 10-12) companies are directed and choreographed by Paper Mill Playhouse's professional artistic staff in a fully produced, original concert titled Endless Ovations, a celebration of 85 years of Paper Mill productions.



Low Cut Connie's Film Acquired by Dark Star Pictures For Release on October 1st

Low Cut Connie announced a distribution agreement with Dark Star Pictures for his hybrid documentary / concert film Art Dealers. Dark Star Pictures has acquired North American rights to the film and will release it theatrically starting in early September, followed by a VOD/digital and physical media release on October 1, 2024.



New Jersey Youth Chorus Offers New Class for Grades K-2

(NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ) -- The New Jersey Youth Chorus (NJYC) is pleased to announce that it will offer a music exploration class for grades K-2 beginning in September. Primi Passi, a non-auditioned class at NJYC, has a singing-focused curriculum that includes active learning of musical games and activities, folk dance and movement, and basic music literacy and vocal skills. A key focus of the class is making new friends, building confidence, and sharing the joy of singing with others!

2024 Teaneck International Film Festival presents "Politics is a Mother"

(TEANECK, NJ) -- The Teaneck International Film Festival, with the theme, Activism: Making Change, returns November 7-14, 2024. The "live" part of the festival runs November 7-10, ending with the premiere of Politics is a Mother, a documentary about NJ Senator Loretta Weinberg, at Temple Emeth (1666 Windsor Road) in Teaneck. Additional films will be offered online from November 11-14.

MPAC Announces Free Summer Concert Lineup for 2026

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center's Arts in the Community free summer concert schedule for 2026 has been announced. MPAC will present six free concerts between June and August. The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.

The musical ventures through the highs and lows of young life, from baseball and homework to young love and friendship. With an empathetic and whimsical eye, You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown reminds us of the importance of connection and joy.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.

"Yeah, the idea started early last year," enthusiastically stated guitarist Adrian Vandenberg as he discussed his upcoming "My Whitesnake Years" tour, a conglomeration of hits from some of the most revered classic rock acts of all time. "Last year it was 35 years ago when Whitesnake headlined the legendary Donington Festival in England. So, we thought it would be a good thing to celebrate that anniversary and do a "My Whitesnake Years" tour and when we were done, people from all over the world began asking if we'd be willing to do a run here or there and we went to Scandinavia, Spain and there is actually more stuff in the pipeline for next year also and of course now to the United States and it has been a lot of fun so far."
