RVCC to Present Contemporary Photography Exhibition

(BRANCHBURG, NJ) -- Raritan Valley Community College’s Arts & Design department will present Expanding the View of Photography: from Realism to Abstraction, an exhibition showcasing the work of 10 photographers, from January 19 through February 18, in the Art Gallery at the College’s Branchburg campus.

New Jersey Youth Symphony Alumnus to Apprentice with the Berlin Philharmonic

(NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ) -- The New Jersey Youth Symphony (NJYS), a program of the Wharton Institute for the Performing Arts, shared the news that alumnus Omar El-Abidin has won a worldwide audition to apprentice at the famous Berlin Philharmonic in Germany and will start his tenure next month.

Lee Brice To Headline Yuengling Stars & Stripes Summer Celebration On July 9th

Composer and Multi-Instrumentalist Angélica Negrón Is the 2022 Recipient of the $30,000 Hermitage Greenfield Prize

(SARASOTA, FL) — The Hermitage Artist Retreat, in collaboration with the Philadelphia-based Greenfield Foundation, has selected innovative composer and multi-instrumentalist Angélica Negrón as the winner of the 2022 Hermitage Greenfield Prize (HGP), awarded this year in the artistic discipline of music. Negrón will receive a six-week Hermitage Fellowship and a $30,000 commission to create a new work of music, which will have its first public presentation in Sarasota in 2024.



Paper Mill Playhouse Presents "Clue"

(MILLBURN, NJ) -- After a postponement in the fall of 2020, Paper Mill Playhouse finally brings Clue to the stage. Murder and blackmail are back on the menu when six mysterious guests assemble for a dinner party at Boddy Manor. Was it Mrs. Peacock in the study with the knife? Or Colonel Mustard in the library with the wrench? Based on the cult 1985 Paramount movie and inspired by the classic Hasbro game, this farce-meetsmurder- mystery is bloody good fun. Directed by Casey Hushion, Clue runs from January 26 through February 20, 2022.



R&B Singer Bradd Marquis To Present “A Change is Gonna Come: The Music of Sam Cooke” At William Paterson University on February 11th

(WAYNE, NJ) -- Bradd Marquis will perform “A Change is Gonna Come: The Music of Sam Cooke” as part of William Paterson University’s WP Presents series on Friday, February 11 at 8:00pm in the Shea Center for Performing Arts on the campus in Wayne. This fantastic new show depicts the life and music of one of America’s most iconic and talented performers, the legendary Sam Cooke. The performance is brought to you alongside a live big band.

MPAC Announces Free Summer Concert Lineup for 2026

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center's Arts in the Community free summer concert schedule for 2026 has been announced. MPAC will present six free concerts between June and August. The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.

Classic American Tales' presents Tales at the Dormer House every Thursday

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.
