2022 "Summer Stars" Classical Music Series in Ocean Grove

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- The "Summer Stars" classical music series presented weekly by The Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association (OGCMA) kicks off Thursday July 7, 2022 at the Great Auditorium in Ocean Grove, NJ.  Showtimes are 7:30pm. NJ’s own Imperial Brass will perform a program entitled “Americans We,” featuring patriotic tunes, Broadway hits and Tin Pan Alley classics by American composers.



Knauer Performing Arts Center presents Live at The Fillmore

(WEST CHESTER, PA) -- Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center welcomes the world’s most popular Allman Brothers Tribute Band and takes audiences back to the 70s. Live at The Fillmore, named for New York’s legendary Fillmore East Auditorium, takes the stage for an evening of classic rock songs like “Midnight Rider” and “Whipping Post” and  is one of the most well known tributes to the music of the Allman Brothers Band. This popular act is set to perform Saturday, June 25 at 7:30pm.



Ocean City Music Pier presents John Lodge from The Moody Blues

(OCEAN CITY, NJ) -- John Lodge - legendary bass player, songwriter and vocalist for the iconic rock band, The Moody Blues is to bring his electrifying ‘Performs Classic Moody Blues’ show to the Ocean City Music Pier on July 25 as part of their Summer Concert Series. 



NJ Festival Orchestra to Present Outdoor Summer Celebration Concert on July 30th

(WESTFIELD, NJ) -- New Jersey Festival Orchestra, under the baton of maestro David Wroe, presents “An American AND Paris”, a sizzling summer celebration under the stars as Gershwin’s American in Paris meets masterworks by Debussy, Saint Saens, Vaughn Williams and more in a program of international favorites. Set in the splendor of the gardens of one of Westfield’s finest residences, this is an outdoor festivity for the entire family.  The concert takes place on Saturday, July 30th at 8:00pm.








"Julia Scotti: Funny That Way" Screening & Live Comedy Event on June 25th

(WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ) -- The critically-acclaimed documentary Julia Scotti: Funny That Way about New Jersey comedian Julia Scotti will be screened at Township Theatre on Saturday, June 25 at 9:00pm followed by a Q&A with Julia and the film's director Susan Sandler plus a stand-up set by Julia.  A portion of the evening's proceeds goes to the Bergen County LGBTQ Alliance.



New Brunswick 2022 Juneteenth Commemoration & Celebration Week

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- From June 15-19, 2022, the City of New Brunswick, NJ will celebrate the 157th Anniversary of Juneteenth—a day that commemorates the end of slavery throughout the United States. The Juneteenth Planning Coalition brings together a wide variety of community groups for an exciting series of events to make this year's Juneteenth celebration one of the most outstanding and impactful activities of 2022. Juneteenth achieved federal recognition on the 17th of June 2021, when President Biden signed the Juneteenth National Independence Day Act, establishing the 19th of June as a federal holiday to commemorate the end of slavery in the United States.



Two River Theater Announces Under 30 Party and Pride Celebration with Local Drag Queens

(RED BANK, NJ) -- Summer is heating up at Two River Theater! The popular series “Inside Two River” is back with two exciting events this month, supplementing the theater’s onstage offerings with opportunities for the community to connect, celebrate, and come together. Events include a Two River for an Under 30 Night on June 18th and a Pride on the Plaza celebration on June 24th.

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC) presents a wide range of ticketed and free events in July, featuring a great lineup of summer concerts including Lyle Lovett and Chris Isaak, as well as the return of MPAC’s free Arts in the Community events.



Beach Rats (Ft. members of Bouncing Souls, Bad Religion, and Lifetime) to Release Debut Album

Beach Rats is comprised of vocalist Ari Katz from Lifetime, guitarist Pete Steinkopf & bassist Bryan Keinlen from Bouncing Souls, guitarist Brian Baker from Bad Religion & Minor Threat, and Danny Windas from Let It Burn on drums.  The band came to be as each member found themselves settled in the beach community of Asbury Park. After releasing an EP in 2018 and performing a slew of high-energy shows, the global pandemic gave the band a reason to get back to recording. Their debut album Rat Beat, will be released on July 29th via Epitaph Records.

MPAC Announces Free Summer Concert Lineup for 2026

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center's Arts in the Community free summer concert schedule for 2026 has been announced. MPAC will present six free concerts between June and August. The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.

Classic American Tales' presents Tales at the Dormer House every Thursday

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.

"Yeah, the idea started early last year," enthusiastically stated guitarist Adrian Vandenberg as he discussed his upcoming "My Whitesnake Years" tour, a conglomeration of hits from some of the most revered classic rock acts of all time. "Last year it was 35 years ago when Whitesnake headlined the legendary Donington Festival in England. So, we thought it would be a good thing to celebrate that anniversary and do a "My Whitesnake Years" tour and when we were done, people from all over the world began asking if we'd be willing to do a run here or there and we went to Scandinavia, Spain and there is actually more stuff in the pipeline for next year also and of course now to the United States and it has been a lot of fun so far."
