The ShowRoom Cinema presents a screening of "Meet Me In The Bathroom" on November 8th

(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- The ShowRoom Cinema, along with other theaters across the country, will host a one night only screening of the documentary Meet Me In The Bathroom on Tuesday, November 8 at 7:30pm. Tickets are $20 and available in advance at the box office and showroomcinemas.com.  



Lizzie Rose Music Room Reopens Indoors on Sunday with the Hot Club of Cowtown

​​​​​​​(TUCKERTON, NJ) -- After two years of outdoor shows The Lizzie Rose Music Room is returning to its indoor location in Tucketon. The room is considered a gem on the South Jersey music scene offering an intimate listening room experience to audiences of 70 people at a time. A recently successful GoFundMe campaign has enabled the room to bring its live music shows back to its original home of eight years.  The reopening is this  Sunday October 23rd starring the Hot Club Of Cowtown stopping in for their 25th anniversary tour.



East Lynne Theater Company presents "Phantom," "Poe," and "Rocky Horror" for Halloween

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- The award-winning Equity professional East Lynne Theater Company presents three events in time for Halloween: "Phantom of the Opera," the 1925 silent classic horror film, accompanied by Wayne Zimmerman on the organ on Friday, October 28 at 7:00pm, "Poe by Candlelight" on Saturday, October 29 at 8:00pm, and the cult-classic "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" at 7:00pm at Rotary Park in partnership with The City of Cape May, NJ. “Phantom” and “Poe” are being presented at The Cape May Presbyterian Church, 500 Hughes Street, where the theater is in residence.



A Look at "Eden Prairie, 1971" at NJ Rep

(LONG BRANCH, NJ) -- New Jersey Repertory Company presents the National New Play Network premiere of Eden Prairie, 1971 written by Mat Smart. Directed by Evan Bergman, the play stars Andrea Gallo, Oriana Lada, and Emilio Cuesta. Performances run from October 20th through November 20th.  Photographer John Posada was at a dress rehearsal to take some photos.

MPAC Announces Free Summer Concert Lineup for 2026

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center's Arts in the Community free summer concert schedule for 2026 has been announced. MPAC will present six free concerts between June and August. The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.

Classic American Tales' presents Tales at the Dormer House every Thursday

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.
