(MANASQUAN, NJ) -- Algonquin Arts Theatre is currently presenting its holiday show, A Christmas Story: The Musical weekends to December 18th.  From the songwriting team behind the smash hit Tony Award-winning musical Dear Evan Hansen and the Academy Award-winning film La La Land, A Christmas Story: The Musical, brings the classic 1983 movie to hilarious life on stage. 2023 Parti Gras Tour Includes Bret Michaels, Night Ranger, Jefferson Starship and more

Hot off the heels of a massive stadium tour with his band Poison, for the first time ever, Bret Michaels is hitting the road for a limited run of live dates for his 2023 Parti Gras Tour. Michaels has created this tour with a Mardi Gras feel in celebration of his great fans and hit music. The renowned rockstar will bring a few of his rocker friends along for a mashup of all killer, no filler hits featuring special guests Night Ranger and Jefferson Starship with special appearances from Steve Augeri (former lead singer of Journey) and Mark McGrath (Sugar Ray), plus a nightly surprise guest to rock your world. 



Celebrate New Year's Eve with Caroline Rhea at NBPAC

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- Come celebrate New Year's Eve at an evening of comedy with Caroline Rhea at New Brunswick Performing Arts Center (NBPAC). Rhea is a stand-up comedian and actress, best known for her role as Hilda Spellman on the ABC hit series Sabrina The Teenage Witch, and numerous comedy specials on Comedy Central, HBO and Showtime. She will perform two shows at NBPAC; one at 7:00pm and another at 9:30pm.



Algonquin Arts Theatre Brings Back Teen Night with Project Write Now

(MANAQUAN, NJ) -- Algonquin Arts Theatre has announced the return of Algonquin’s Teen Night in collaboration with Project Write Now. Algonquin’s Teen Night is a program for student playwrights, future directors, designers and theatre enthusiasts. Students participating in the program will be instructed in creative writing with an emphasis on writing for theatre. Teen Night students will produce a journal of creative writing ideas, participate in feedback sessions and develop pieces for a showcase.  The showcase will be presented before an audience and feature students’ original monologues, scenes or short plays.








NJPAC presents Tedeschi Trucks Band

(NEWARK, NJ) -- Tedeschi Trucks Band, America’s premier rock-and-roll big band, touring in support of their new album, I Am The Moon, will perform live at New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 8:00pm.

(ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ) -- Stone Church Players presented “Miracle on 34th Street” for their annual radio play December 3-4, 2022 at All Saints’ Memorial Church. Directed by Lindsay Abbot of Rumson and Caitlin Martin of Highlands, the event featured Musical Director Mike Kabash of Rumson on piano and the cast included 10 wonderfully talented actors who have all performed in past SCP productions. Hudson Theatre Works presents "Yes, Virginia there is a Santa Claus"

(WEEHAWKEN, NJ) -- Hudson Theatre Works presents a holiday show for the whole family - “Yes, Virginia there is a Santa Claus” by Andrew J. Fenady with performances on Saturday, December 17 at 7:30pm and Sunday, December 18 at 1:00pm. The production is directed by Beatriz Esteban-Messina. 



Who Is Jill Scott? Words & Sounds Vol. 1 Tour to Hit NJ, NY, PA

What started as the 20th-anniversary tour of Jill Scott’s chart-topping, genre-defining album, Who Is Scott?: Words and Sounds Vol I in 2020 ended prematurely due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But good news prevails: in 2023, the tour will resume, electrifying auditoriums, theaters, and music halls throughout the nation in celebration of a moment and movement that continues to enthrall music lovers of all ages and backgrounds. Scott will play the iconic album front to back, with hits from her iconic debut album, such as “Gettin’ in the Way,” “A Long Walk” and other musical stories. 



Geno's Steaks now available in Cherry Hill

(CHERRY HILL, NJ) -- Geno’s Steaks has been a staple in Philadelphia since the late Joey Vento opened the shop on East Passyunk Avenue in 1966, proudly serving cheesesteaks 24-hours a day, seven days a week. For the past 56 years, people from Philadelphia and beyond have lined up for cheesesteaks at Geno’s – which are made with premium, un-chopped, thinly sliced ribeye steak with or without fried onions and a handful of cheese options. Beginning in December, South Jersey can get in on the action, as Geno’s Steaks opens inside Foodiehall, the virtual food hall located at 1931 Olney Avenue in Cherry Hill, NJ.

NJPAC presents a Spring Season of Jazz

PBS' Independent Lens Launches 20th Season of Free Pop-Up Screening Series in Teaneck and Nationwide

(TEANECK, NJ) -- The award-winning PBS documentary series, INDEPENDENT LENS, presents the launch of the upcoming season of Indie Lens Pop-Up in partnership with the Teaneck International Film Festival and the Puffin Cultural Forum. The season kicks-off on February 4, 2026 with The Librarians and continues through May. The series is free for all but sign up is required.

State Theatre New Jersey presents The Sound Studio Series 2026

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- State Theatre New Jersey proudly presents The Sound Studio Series, an immersive musical experience that places concertgoers at the very heart of the performance. Megan Thee Stallion to make her Broadway debut in "Moulin Rouge! The Musical"

The Musical have announced that three-time Grammy Award-winning superstar and actress Megan Thee Stallion will make her Broadway debut in the production as "Zidler", impresario of the titular nightclub. Taking the stage for a strictly limited 8-week engagement, Megan will light up the Al Hirshfeld Theatre from Tuesday, March 24th to Sunday, May 17, 2026, promising an unmissable, moment in the show's legendary run.

(MILLBURN, NJ) -- Paper Mill Playhouse presents 1776, the Tony Award-winning musical, from April 1 through May 2, 2026. It brings the story behind the creation of the Declaration of Independence to the stage with witty satire, compelling drama, and a thrilling score. With music and lyrics by Sherman Edwards and book by Peter Stone, 1776 follows John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, and their fellow delegates as they navigate fiery debates, political tensions, and personal conflicts in their struggle to unite thirteen colonies.
