Asbury Park Theater Company to Present "American Son"

(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- After the success of the two shows Green Day's American Idiot and Million Dollar Quartet, Asbury Park Theater Company (APTCo) is thrilled to announce that their next production will be the gripping and timely drama, American Son by Christopher Demos-Brown. The show will run for three performances only from April 28-30 at The Palaia Theater inside Jersey Shore Arts Center in the neighboring town of Ocean Grove.

Algonquin Arts Theatre Announces Cast and Creative Team for "Hello Dolly!"

(MANASQUAN, NJ) -- Algonquin Arts Theatre has announced the cast and creative team for its spring musical, Hello Dolly! The show will run at Algonquin Arts Theatre from May 6-21. Jerry Herman's energetic musical is filled with charisma and with heart. Matchmaker Dolly Levi is a widow, a matchmaker, and also a professional meddler - but everything changes when she decides that the next match she needs to make is to find someone for herself.



Transparent Clinch Gallery presents the Marc Muller Trio on April 29th

(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- On Saturday, April 29th at 4:00, the Marc Muller Trio with world class musicians Tony Garnier (Bob Dylan) and John Kimock (Oteil and Friends) will perform in the intimate setting of The Transparent Clinch Gallery. The trio will lead the listener on a sonic journey through a vast landscape of rootsy Americana instrumental music, drawing from influences ranging from The Beatles, The Grateful Dead, Little Feat to Miles Davis. Attendees will hear high-energy funky country romps, delicate harmonically rich ballads, and soaring improvisations that create a unique blend of music, perhaps best described as Southern-Fried Hippie Jazz.



Poetry and Paintings at The Yard to Take Place April 27th

(HALEDON, NJ) -- Poetry and Paintings NJ will present April's Poetry and Paintings at the Yard on Thursday, April 27th from 6:30pm to 11:00pm. Poetry and Paintings is an open mic and art showcase, featuring musicians, comedians, poets, and artists from the tri-state area. The event will be held at The Yard, 289 Belmont Ave, Haledon, NJ.

Most actresses appear in a play long after it has already been a successful movie. Not Lea Sevola. She appeared in Legally Blonde: the Musical, the college beauty queen comedy, when she was 17 and then, years later, saw the movie. Now she is back again on stage, co-starring in a new version of Legally Blonde that is touring the country. Lea is legally and illegally blonde.

NJPAC presents a Spring Season of Jazz

(NEWARK, NJ) -- New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) presents a Spring Season of Jazz with free monthly jazz jams at Clement's Place and two special concert events inside the Victoria Theater. PBS' Independent Lens Launches 20th Season of Free Pop-Up Screening Series in Teaneck and Nationwide

(TEANECK, NJ) -- The award-winning PBS documentary series, INDEPENDENT LENS, presents the launch of the upcoming season of Indie Lens Pop-Up in partnership with the Teaneck International Film Festival and the Puffin Cultural Forum. The season kicks-off on February 4, 2026 with The Librarians and continues through May. The series is free for all but sign up is required.

State Theatre New Jersey presents The Sound Studio Series 2026

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- State Theatre New Jersey proudly presents The Sound Studio Series, an immersive musical experience that places concertgoers at the very heart of the performance. Held in STNJ's intimate Studio space, limited to just 80 attendees, The Sound Studio Series features a dynamic mix of both classical and rock performances.
