(HALEDON, NJ) -- Poetry and Paintings NJ will present April’s Poetry and Paintings at the Yard on Thursday, April 27th from 6:30pm to 11:00pm. Poetry and Paintings is an open mic and art showcase, featuring musicians, comedians, poets, and artists from the tri-state area. The event will be held at The Yard, 289 Belmont Ave, Haledon, NJ.

This April’s Poetry and Paintings Open Mic event, hosted by B The Pen, will feature musical acts CSW and Max Feinstein, as well as King Kamayera, Philadelphia-based artist, Mello Jones, Jersey City's 2019 Poet Laureate Rashad Wright, and the founder of the NJ Poetry Renaissance, Damian Rucci. Each performer who signs up for the open mic will get a high quality video of their set. Sign ups are from 6:30pm-6:50pm. There will be vendors, food, and drink specials all night! Event curation by SammyB (itsbymmas) and videography by Sol Collective and team.  

Tickets are $10 (early bird), $15 (regular online), and $20 (day-of-event), seating is limited. Tickets are available for purchase online. There are sponsored tickets for low-income, disabled, queer, neurodivergent, or BIPOC folk who are disadvantaged. However if you are able to afford the $10-$20, the ticket sales goes towards paying the artists and the camera crew.
