Premiere Stages Brings New Relevancy to 'Selling Kabul'

Premiere Stages at Kean is now running the New Jersey Premiere of Selling Kabul. Written by Sylvia Khoury, the play runs through September 24 at the Bauer Boucher Theatre Center on the campus of Kean University, Union, NJ. With direction by Taylor Reynolds, the show is intense and thought provoking and it is one that will stay with you for a long time. If you are a person who values family, you may feel sadness as you watch what is going on to people and how it is splitting the citizens of Kabul apart. But this is one that should not be missed.



Princeton Makes Talks Series Features Visual Artist Anandi Ramanathan

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- On Friday, September 22 at 6:30pm, artist Anandi Ramanathan will be the featured speaker for the "Inside the Artist's Studio" series at Princeton Makes in the Princeton Shopping Center. Anandi, a member of the Princeton Makes artist cooperative, is a watercolor/acrylic artist who specializes in painting florals and illustrations.



29th Annual New Hope Arts and Crafts Festival Takes Place This Weekend

(NEW HOPE, PA) -- Greater New Hope Chamber of Commerce presents the 29th Annual New Hope Arts and Crafts Festival on Saturday, September 23 and Sunday, September 24, 2023, at New Hope - Solebury High School, 180 W. Bridge Street, in New Hope, Pennsylvania. Over 160 juried fine artists and craftspeople will exhibit using media such as oil paintings, watercolors, pastels, sculpture, fine and fun jewelry, ceramics, works in wood, fiber, furniture, wearable art, glass art, photography, outsider art and more. Festivities will also include live music all weekend long, food trucks, kids activities, hand-ons demonstrations and more.

Centenary Stage Company's Young Audience Series presents "A Year With Frog and Toad"

(HACKETTSTOWN, NJ) -- Centenary Stage Company's Young Audience Series returns for the 2023-2024 season with A Year with Frog and Toad September 28 through October 2. Performances will take place in the Little Theatre of the Centenary University campus located at 400 Jefferson St. Hackettstown, NJ. A Year with Frog and Toad tells the story of two friends, the cheerful and popular Frog, and the rather grumpy Toad.

MPAC Announces Free Summer Concert Lineup for 2026

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center's Arts in the Community free summer concert schedule for 2026 has been announced. MPAC will present six free concerts between June and August. The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.

Classic American Tales' presents Tales at the Dormer House every Thursday

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.
