New Jersey Symphony Presents Handel's Messiah

(NEWARK, NJ) -- The New Jersey Symphony will present two performances of the beloved holiday tradition, Handel's Messiah, Friday, December 15 at 8:00pm in Princeton, and Sunday, December 17 at 7:00pm in Newark. The Symphony will perform the entire Oratorio, including Part I (popularly known as the Christmas portion) as well as the familiar 'Hallelujah Chorus.'

Holiday Giving Event Celebrates Frank Sinatra with $20 Ticket Prices

(AVON-BY-THE-SEA, NJ) -- Karen Morris of Sand Castle Communications, presenter of the special event Jolly Sinatra: Birthday and Holiday Giving Event, has considerably lowered the show ticket price to just $20 per person. This ws done as an incentive for all who attend to donate savings (due to the reduced ticket price) to their favorite charity, or hers, The Virtual Toy Drive at The Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's Hospital (BMSCH), part of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and RWJ Barnabas Health.



Princeton Makes and Ragged Sky Press present Second Sunday Poetry Reading with Estelle Bajou and Daniel Weeks

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- Princeton Makes, a Princeton-based artist cooperative, and Ragged Sky Press, a local publisher focused on poetry, will host a Second Sunday Poetry Reading on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at 4:00pm. The readings will take place at the Princeton Makes store in the Princeton Shopping Center. The November reading will feature Estelle Bajou and Daniel Weeks. Their readings will be followed by an open mic available to up to 10 audience members who would like to read their original poetry.

The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.
