Spring Lake Hosts Holiday Concert Revue with Cocktail Reception

(SPRING LAKE, NJ) -- As December draws near, immerse yourself in the festive spirit at the Spring Lake Community House & Theatre's enchanting event, Something Wonderful - Holiday Concert Revue and Cocktail Reception on Saturday, November 18, 2023. The magic begins at 7:30pm, but make sure to arrive early at 6:30pm to indulge in the lavish Holiday cocktails served in the festively adorned Brown Room. After the concert, the audience can mingle with the performers as the reception continues. On July 16, 1981, the music world lost one of its brightest stars with the death of singer/songwriter Harry Chapin. On Saturday, November 4, 2023, the members of his family gathered together at Morristown, NJ's MPAC to celebrate his life with a Harry Chapin at 80 retrospective concert starring brothers Steve and Tom Chapin, daughter Jen Chapin, nieces Abigail and Lily Chapin, along with The Harry Chapin Band.



ArtYard presents a staged reading of TyLie Shider's "Shoptalk"

(FRENCHTOWN, NJ) -- ArtYard Playwright Fellow TyLie Shider's newest play, Shoptalk, explores the transformative, often unsung, power of salons and the intimate relationship between hairdressers and their clientele. ArtYard presents a free staged play reading of Shoptalk on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at the McDonnell Theater. A discussion with Shider follows the reading. The reading begins at 3:00pm.

Mercer County Community College Theater and Dance Students present "Seven Deadly Sins"

(WEST WINDSOR, NJ) -- Audiences are in store for a unique experience for the senses and the mind when the Mercer County Community College's (MCCC) multiple award-winning Theater and Dance programs present The Seven Deadly Sins from November 17-19, 2023. The Seven Deadly Sins features four original, one-act plays and three dance numbers designed to allow students to explore the fun and dark sides of human nature.

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center's Arts in the Community free summer concert schedule for 2026 has been announced. MPAC will present six free concerts between June and August. The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.

Classic American Tales' presents Tales at the Dormer House every Thursday

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.
