(LINCROFT, NJ) -- Monmouth Arts presents the return of the Teen Arts Festival, a two-day celebration of creativity, innovation, and artistic expression. The festival will be held at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft from March 19-20, 2026 bringing together talented teen artists from across Monmouth County for an immersive arts experience.
For over two decades, Monmouth Arts has provided a platform for young artists to showcase their talents and explore a range of creative disciplines, including musical theater, creative writing, film and video, visual arts, instrumental music, and more.
The 2026 Monmouth Arts Teen Arts Festival, presented in partnership with Monmouth NJ 250, will embrace the theme "Art is Revolutionary." This theme highlights that young creatives are not just participants in change; they are catalysts for it.
"We're proud to team up with Monmouth 250 for this year's Teen Arts Festival," says Teresa Staub, Executive Director of Monmouth Arts. "As America celebrates 250 years, the festival gives Monmouth County teens a chance to explore their creativity and share their work with other teens. It's a celebration of their talent, imagination, and the energy they bring to our community."
Over 2,000 teens from across Monmouth County are set to participate in this year's festival, marking a record-breaking turnout, with five new schools and numerous independent student entries joining the event. Throughout the festival, students can compete in their chosen artistic discipline, participate in hands-on workshops, experience peer performances, and explore captivating exhibitions. A dedicated team of workshop instructors, adjudicators, and volunteers ensures that every student leaves the festival feeling motivated, empowered, and inspired.
"We are thrilled to welcome over 2,000 talented students to this year's Teen Arts Festival," says Devan Brash, Arts Education Manager at Monmouth Arts. "Monmouth Arts brings creativity to the community because we believe art inspires connection, sparks dialogue, and empowers the next generation. This festival gives young artists a chance to showcase their talents, experiment across disciplines, and engage with peers, all while contributing to the cultural life of Monmouth County."
The sponsors of the 2026 Monmouth Arts Teen Arts Festival are Algonquin Arts Theatre, Axelrod Performing Arts Center, Freehold Raceway Mall, OceanFirst Bank, and Monmouth County Tourism. Special thanks to Red Bank RiverCenter and Rook for their prize sponsorships, Dunkin' Donuts of Colts Neck and Brandywine at the Sycamore for their breakfast sponsorship, and Hatteras for printing the festival program journal.
