(TRENTON, NJ) -- The Garden State Wine Growers Association (GSWGA) presents SIPS, STARS & STRIPES: A NJ Wine Revolution, an exciting and immersive wine event taking place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the historic War Memorial in Trenton. In partnership with the New Jersey Department of Agriculture, the NJ wine community is ready to celebrate America 250 at this truly historic moment.

Get ready to raise a glass to the Garden State! Sips, Stars & Stripes: A NJ Wine Revolution will be an unforgettable day of local pours, historic vibes, and community spirit.

Tickets are available for purchase online. VIP tickets get early access to the event starting at 12:00pm. General Admission runs from 1:00pm – 5:00pm. The War Memorial is located at One Memorial Drive in Trenton, New Jersey. The event is open to 21+ only. * Designated driver tickets are available at the door

This unique spring event will honor both the 250th anniversary of the United States and the rich history of New Jersey's wine industry. Set within the State Capital Complex, just miles from Washington's Crossing, the site of one of the most iconic moments of the Revolutionary War. This event promises a memorable blend of history, culture, and exceptional wine.

Guests will be transported back in time with live Revolutionary War re-enactors and interpreters from Washington's Crossing Historic Site and the Old Barracks in Trenton. Attendees will experience an authentic encampment on the War Memorial's front lawn, complete with appearances by George Washington and his soldiers. The event will open with the stirring sounds of fife and drums, followed by opportunities for guests to interact with historical figures, take photos, and learn about the Revolutionary War while enjoying wine tastings throughout the venue.

In addition to celebrating American history, the event will highlight the evolution and achievements of the New Jersey wine industry. Participating wineries are encouraged to embrace the theme through creative displays, enhancing the immersive experience for attendees.

The Garden State Wine Growers Association looks forward to hosting a truly historic celebration that brings together New Jersey's vibrant wine community and the spirit of America's 250th anniversary.

The Garden State Wine Growers Association is a non-profit organization of New Jersey-based wineries, vineyards, and allied businesses. It serves as a centralized information repository, resource, and clearing house for industry members, and offers a unified voice advocating for issues important to the entire range of New Jersey winery and vineyard operations. Central to this mission are efforts toward branding, marketing, public relations, education, and legislation and regulation for the furtherance of the vineyard and wine industries in the Garden State.
