(TITUSVILLE, NJ) -- On Saturday, May 9th the New Jersey State Button Society (NJSBS) will host its Spring 2026 Button Show and Competition, "Artisan Buttons of the Garden State." The event takes place at the Union Fire Company Hall (1396 River Road) in Titusville from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Admission is free and open to the public.
With judged member competitions featuring buttons made from materials used in New Jersey Button factories, as well as many Studio buttons created by artists from New Jersey, the NJSBS will highlight some of its own homegrown history. Other competition subjects will include clear and colored glass buttons, birds, and buttons with borders.
In addition to viewing member trays of collectible buttons on display, there will be door prizes, a raffle table, and knowledgeable button dealers with hundreds of antique, vintage and modern buttons available for purchase.
Founded in 1941, when a nationwide interest in button collecting was surging, New Jersey State Button Society helps its members to study, collect, and enjoy garment buttons from the present and centuries past. The NJSBS Spring Show is open to the general public. Admission and parking are free. For more information email [email protected].
