Middletown Arts Center to hold auditions for "Legally Blonde, the Musical" 
(MIDDLETOWN, NJ) -- The MAC Players at the Middletown Arts Center will hold auditions for the production of Legally Blonde the Musical on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 from 5:00pm-10:00pm. This fabulously fun, award-winning musical follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. Music and lyrics by Laurence O'Keefe, Nell Benjamin, book by Heather Hach and based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer motion picture, Legally Blonde.
Lantern Theater Company to Close 30th Anniversary Season with William Shakespeare's "The Comedy of Errors" 
(PHILADELPHIA, PA) -- Lantern Theater Company will close its 30th anniversary season with The Comedy of Errors, part of the company's ongoing commitment to produce the timeless stories of William Shakespeare for both the general public and local school students. Lantern Artistic Director Charles McMahon directs an ensemble cast of Lantern veterans, including Morgan Charéce Hall, J Hernandez, Dave Johnson, Brian McCann, Lee Minora, Kishia Nixon, Matteo Scammell, and Zach Valdez. The Comedy of Errors runs Thursday, May 16 through Sunday, June 16, 2024, at St. Stephen's Theater in Center City Philadelphia.
Kean University's "Broadway Babies" Join Hairspray Stars on Stage

RVCC Student Jazz Ensemble to Perform on April 30th

New Jersey Youth Symphony to Celebrate 45th Anniversary at NJPAC 
(NEWARK, NJ) -- The New Jersey Youth Symphony (NJYS), a program of Wharton Arts, will present its 45th Anniversary Celebration Concert on Sunday, May 5 at 3:00pm at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) in Newark. Experience a grand celebration of the Garden State's premier youth orchestra program as its three full symphony orchestras and Jazz Orchestra come together with alumni for a triumphant concert commemorating the 45th season. Special guest stars George Marriner Maull of The Discovery Orchestra and jazz legend Rufus Reid join the jubilee led by NJYS conductors Dion Tucker, Mark Gunderman, Simon Lipskar, and Helen H. Sara David Buechner to Perform Beethoven's First Piano Concerto with the PSO 
(PRINCETON, NJ) -- Award-winning pianist Sara David Buechner joins up with the Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) for performances of Ludwig van Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 1 in C Major, Op. 15 the weekend of May 11-12, 2024.
