Few artists have traveled as many musical roads—or done so with as much authenticity—as Maria Muldaur. Best known for her Grammy-nominated 1974 hit “Midnight at the Oasis,” Muldaur's remarkable career spans more than six decades and encompasses blues, folk, gospel, jazz, jug band music, R&B, and Americana. Emerging from the vibrant Greenwich Village folk scene of the early 1960s, she performed with the Even Dozen Jug Band and the Jim Kweskin Jug Band before launching a successful solo career.

Far from being defined by a single hit, Muldaur has built a distinguished legacy as one of America's foremost interpreters of traditional roots music. She has released more than forty albums, collaborated with artists ranging from Jerry Garcia and Bonnie Raitt to Taj Mahal and Tuba Skinny, and earned widespread acclaim for preserving and celebrating the rich traditions of American music. Her warm stage presence, expressive voice, and deep knowledge of blues and folk history continue to captivate audiences around the world.

Bruce Katz is widely regarded as one of the premier keyboardists in contemporary blues and roots music. A master of both piano and Hammond B-3 organ, Katz blends blues, jazz, soul, and Americana into a distinctive and deeply expressive style. Over a career spanning more than three decades, he has released numerous acclaimed recordings as a bandleader while also becoming one of the most sought-after sidemen in the genre.

Katz's impressive résumé includes performances and recordings with legendary artists such as Gregg Allman, Ronnie Earl, Delbert McClinton, John Hammond, Duke Robillard, and Maria Muldaur. A ten-time Blues Music Award nominee and recipient of the Blues Music Award for Acoustic Album of the Year, Katz is celebrated for his virtuosic musicianship, soulful improvisation, and ability to seamlessly bridge traditional and contemporary roots music. Whether leading his own ensemble or accompanying fellow artists, his playing brings both power and finesse to every performance.

Together, Maria Muldaur and Bruce Katz create an intimate musical experience rooted in the blues, jazz, folk, and American roots traditions. Their combined artistry, decades of experience, and deep musical connection make for an unforgettable evening of songs, stories, and world-class musicianship.
