New Jersey Native's New Music Video Inspires Self Transformation

originally published: 02/12/2024

(NASHVILLE, NJ) -- New Jersey born rock artist MiMo released the music video for his latest single “Man in the Mirror” on Monday, February 12, 2024. Directed by Fernando Varzar and produced by Moonastereo, the video is currently available on Youtube.

The video parallels two different versions of MiMo’s life. In one scene, MiMo sticks to his old habits, hitting the snooze button, skipping the gym, and wasting the day away playing video games. In the other, MiMo strives to become the best version of himself.

“It’s a pretty good representation of what I am capable of when I focus and put in the work,” said MiMo. “Every day we wake up, we have the power to decide who we are going to be. It’s all about setting high standards and holding yourself to them.”

Before pursuing a music career in Nashville Tennessee, MiMo achieved his Bachelors in Music Education from Montclair State University and his Masters in Music Education from New Jersey City University. He spent 5 years teaching at local studios and public schools and has performed at numerous venues across the greater New Jersey Area. He moved to Nashville in 2018 to go after his lifelong dream.

“Man in the Mirror” was produced by Grammy award winner Dave Hagen and is currently available on all streaming platforms. It is the first official single released ahead of MiMo’s debut album, also produced by Hagen. More single releases as well as the album release date will be announced soon.
