(RUTHERFORD, NJ) -- The Williams Center hosts Spirit of 76 Expo with the Dressed to Kill KISS tribute band on Saturday, September 12, 2026 from 11:00am to 11:00pm. This event celebrates the 50th anniversary of KISS's legendary "Spirit of '76" Destroyer tour.
The "Spirit of '76" Destroyer Tour was deeply connected to America's Bicentennial Celebration .The tour began on July 3, 1976, and ended on September 12, 1976. Exactly 50 years later - to the Day, they're picking up where the legendary "Spirit of '76" Tour left off .
The STAR of the "Spirit of '76 Expo" is a full-scale recreation of the legendary 1976 KISS Destroyer stage, faithfully built from the original 27-page full set of blueprints.
Inspired by the iconic Destroyer album cover, this massive stage was designed around the larger-than-life personas of KISS and the ruins of a conquered city. While the band was photographed and filmed throughout the tour, remarkably few photos and videos ever captured the entire stage in all of its glory.
For One Night Only, experience one of the most legendary—and least documented—stage productions in rock history, recreated and unveiled exactly 50 years to the day after its final performance.
Presented by Dressed To Kill, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the "Spirit of '76 Expo" is a charitable fundraiser, with proceeds being donated to St Judes Childrens cancer research hospital.
