Atlantic City Theatre Company presents "Forever Plaid" at StocktonPAC

(GALLOWAY, NJ) -- Atlantic City Theatre Company presents Forever Plaid at Stockton Performing Arts Center with three performances from September 25-26, 2026. When four young singers are killed in a car crash, they posthumously take the stage for one final gig in this goofy, 1950s nostalgia trip.

Somewhere in Eastern Pennsylvania, back in the days when an Apple was just something you gave the teacher to like you, there were four friends by the name of Sparky, Smudge, Jinx and Francis. Though they’re four ordinary guys from different walks of life, they all shared the same extraordinary dream: To achieve fame and musical greatness as the close harmony group Forever Plaid.

In Smudge’s parents’ basement, they would drill their meticulously crafted songs and choreography to perfection, in the hope that their next gig would be the first of the rest of their lives. On February 9th, 1964, the boys hopped into their cherry red Mercury to pick up their tuxes for one such gig, when immortality they sought together would find them in a way they could never have imagined, with the Universe hurtling them through time and space until the very moment they’re thrust before you, providing them one last shot to do their show together – the way it was meant to be experienced.

Forever Plaid is a hilarious and heartfelt tale with something to take away and enjoy for all walks of life. Featuring hit songs like “Catch a Falling Star,” “Heart and Soul,” “16 Tons,” and “Love is a Many Splendored Thing,” you’ll find yourself snapping along and feeling sentimental in no time. Bring someone special - your husband, wife, kid, grandkid, or even the most special person of all, yourself and enjoy this beautiful look into a simpler, more optimistic time and the music that makes you remember it fondly.

Performances take place Friday, September 25 at 7:30pm and Saturday, September 26 at 2:00pm & 7:30pm. Tickets are available for purchase online. Stockton Performing Arts Center is located at 101 Vera King Farris Drive in Galloway, New Jersey.

Dion

Thursday, September 10, 2026 @ 8:00pm
Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC)
100 South Street, Morristown, NJ

Dion and his music have long represented a special time and place, reflective of a moment when a song could mean so much. When a singer could sum up what it means to be young, in love and on top of the world. Dion is more than a cherished memory as critic Dave Marsh noted, “Dion is the only artist from the 1950’s who has remained creative and relevant into the 2000s.” In 1958 he had three top-forty hits. In 2008 he was nominated for a Grammy. In 2020, is releasing new studio album Blues with Friends, joined by Joe Bonamassa, Paul Simon, Bruce Springsteen, Van Morrison, Jeff Beck, Billy Gibbons and many other rock luminaries. In the ’50s he was one of a handful of innovators who defined rock ‘n’ roll and that’s still very much the case.
