(WEST DEPTFORD, NJ) -- While people are out celebrating America's 250th anniversary, the South Jersey Cultural Alliance (SJCA), Heritage's Dairy Stores, and Visit South Jersey are encouraging residents and visitors to explore South Jersey's arts, history trails, parks, and cultural heritage destinations through the "Hit the Trails with Heritage's" campaign and SJCA's CultureQuest app. The campaign invites families, friends, and visitors to get outside, visit local historical sites, parks, and cultural heritage destinations right here in South Jersey.
CultureQuest, SJCA’s public culture discovery site and mobile app, helps turn that invitation into an itinerary. With an interactive map, regional cultural directory, event listings, and story-based discovery tools, users can find cultural destinations such as Red Bank Battlefield, Edelman Fossil Park, and Fort Billingsport, along with hundreds of other museums, festivals, performances, and cultural events throughout South Jersey. The campaign presents a simple call to action: start with a quick search on CultureQuest and a quick stop at Heritage’s to fuel your South Jersey adventures.
“South Jersey has extraordinary arts, history, and cultural assets, but people do not always know what is right in their own backyard,” said Julie Hain, Executive Director of the South Jersey Cultural Alliance. “CultureQuest helps residents and visitors find those places, plan meaningful outings, and see South Jersey as the vibrant cultural destination it truly is. Through the “Hit the Trails with Heritage’s” campaign, we are connecting digital discovery to real-world exploration, local tourism, and regional pride.”
The campaign brings together two organizations with deep roots in South Jersey. For 35 years, nonprofit Service Organization SJCA has worked to connect, strengthen, and promote the region’s arts, history, and cultural community. Heritage’s, a familiar South Jersey name for 70 years, has served generations of residents through its neighborhood stores and long-standing community presence. Together, the partnership reflects a shared commitment to helping people experience, support, and take pride in the places that make South Jersey vibrant and unique.
The only comprehensive cultural discovery platform of its kind, CultureQuest allows residents and visitors to plan day trips, find nearby cultural destinations, and discover events and cultural experiences across South Jersey.
